Branding for an Asian restaurant in Lviv
Lviv is the capital of Ukrainian gastro culture, so every new restaurant opening here wants to be unique. An Asian restaurant was a big challenge since citizens have got used to all those typical Asian designs.
We wanted to create a brand atmosphere of an authentic Asian street with charismatic characters and special vibe.
After creating a cute and funny brand name, we developed a brand character with its own very special tone of voice and a brand story around them.
We've used anime-style illustrations to tell our stories and create a living brand atmosphere
At this picture, the owners of Fat Dragon are taking a photo with Dragon Shoy — their Asian friend who has just found his perfect business partners.
Shoy decided to stop his world tour in Lviv and open an authentic Asian restaurant where he could share his favorite receipts with all the people he liked really much.
We've combined different illustration styles to gain a living and dynamic effect

Playing with fonts and custom illustrations is pure joy for any designer. We were really excited to watch the final work in real-life conditions as well as the reaction of the first visitors. That's what we call priceless!
