Branding for a European Customs Giant
Custom Support Group (CSG) is a European company that helps businesses clear goods through customs and manage international trade. It provides customs clearance services, advice on customs regulations, customs and tax optimization, as well as digital solutions for faster and safer border crossings for goods. The brand reached out to us asking for help with their design and a fresh approach.
Customs is complicated. Very! Regulations, rules, tons of information. As many rules as there are countries—and sometimes even more.
The niche the brand operates in looked, well, to put it mildly, complicated. This was surprising to us, because if you make something complex look complex, then likely no one will understand it. From a design perspective, we wanted to remove some elements, hide them somewhere. But that wouldn’t work either; it’s a matter of conveying expertise. CSG is exactly the kind of company that knows everything about these complex processes.
Design Strategy: Step By Step.
That’s how the “Step by Step” approach was born. It’s a simple, clear phrase that describes our design even before it came to life. Add minimalism and a tech-forward aesthetic—which are also crucial in this category—and voilà! Step by step, our client explains to their customers how they, step by step, solve their problems!

We really enjoyed working with them! It was great to see how the agency team got excited about what you’re passionate about. They really got to the heart of our business and, before long, started coming up with ideas that were truly on point!
