Fat Dragon is a modern Asian restaurant in Lviv — a city known for its fierce food scene. Creating something truly fresh in the “Asian” category was a challenge: locals were used to stereotypical visuals like lanterns, lotus flowers, and hieroglyphs. So, we had to surprise them.
We came up with the name and visual identity that breaks the clichés — bold, distinctive, and full of character. The brand isn’t just about “Asia,” but rather a mix of Asian flavor with local culture, irony, and a dose of urban energy — all led by the restaurant’s cheeky mascot, the chubby little dragon named Shoy.
